CMNZ MULTIPURPOSE COMMUNITY HALL comprising an indoor hall/theatre, commercial kitchen, studio rooms, library, green rooms, public toilets, 50 carparks. The main hall was designed in portal frames structure comprise columns and pitched rafters. Resistance to lateral and vertical actions is provided by the rigidity of the connections and the bending stiffness of the members, which is increased by a suitable haunch or deepening of the rafter sections. The assembly provides stability in its plane and gives a clear span that is unobstructed by bracing. Fire safety and acoustics were some of the key considerations in the design and construction. The facility is designed and built to cater to the needs of the disabled, as by offering wheelchair access or services for those with impaired vision or hearing.
